Chanel is a devoted mom and passionate Reentry Peer Specialist who spent nearly 17 years incarcerated in Texas. Her journey through and beyond prison has fueled her commitment to advocating for the rights of those still inside while supporting individuals navigating the challenges of reentry. Chanel is especially passionate about helping other formerly incarcerated women secure employment and overcome the stigma of their past. Her mission is to provide practical guidance to those re-entering society, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to rebuild their lives.
