Angel Carroll
Board Treasurer

Angel’s journey through the Texas Juvenile Justice Department and the Department of Family and Protective Service systems began at just 11 years old. As a survivor of these two historically systemically racist and inherently dangerous systems, Angel has dedicated her life to working with nonprofits and government agencies to improve outcomes for system-involved individuals.

She has worked on a wide range of projects, from designing alternatives to incarceration programs for local juvenile justice departments, teaching career and college readiness for state correctional facilities, advocating for trauma-sensitive policy reform, and more.
